Ep. 17 - Moments in Nature: Grounding Yourself and Your Kids
Hey Mama-
In this episode of Nature to Nurture, we’re diving into how being in nature can bring peace and connection to your family life. Spending time outside helps us and our kids feel calmer and more grounded.
We’ll also talk about sensory connections and how nature engages our children’s senses in ways that build resilience and confidence. Simple activities, like touching trees or listening to birds, teach kids about their place in the world and help them connect deeply with the environment.
I’ll share a personal story from my class, where we did the Autumn Tree Yoga routine with affirmations. This practice reminded us of the importance of caring for our community and environment, helping kids see themselves as part of something bigger.
If you’re longing for a natural, purposeful approach to parenting, I have a few spots open in my Rooted and Radiant Coaching Program. Reach out to me on Facebook @naturetonurture.biz or on Instagram @naturetonurturebiz to chat and see if it’s the right fit.
Stay tuned for next week’s episode on unstructured play in nature – a game changer for both kids and parents.
Please subscribe, rate, and review to keep our community growing. Let’s create more meaningful connections with our kids in the great outdoors.
With love,
Tiffany
